I've always wanted to start my own blog. Years ago, my mom had her own named Bellabud, where she primarily shared stories starring her family, specifically my brother and me. She uploaded daily quotes, funny musings, and genuine moments from her day-to-day life.
Basically, she was blogging before blogging was cool.
I soon followed in mom's footsteps in my tween-age years and created my own blog. I uploaded posts about my American girl dolls, Webkinz, books I was reading, and other things typical of a tween-age girl's life. Even being that young, I was inspired by the artistic things my parents were doing, either on their own or through their work. They instilled in me this great desire to just create, and expressing myself has been an absolute necessity in my life for as long as I can remember. As for ten-year-old Bella's blog, I quit it after a while, but the desire to have an actual blog people would enjoy coming to always stuck with me.
I brainstormed on what to make this website about. While I can definitely appreciate a good outfit, I wouldn't consider myself a fashionista. And while I love wearing makeup every day, I'm not always trying new looks and products that I want to post about. After some thinking, I decided that I should just design and put out something that was a pure expression of me: who I am, who I want to grow to be, and who I want to share with others.
I love to write, I love to talk to people, and I love to take photographs. What better way to combine all of these things than to start my own blog?
So, here I am on Bella's Bright Side. With my little piece of the internet, I intend to inspire my readers by sharing positivity and the bright side of just about everything I come across in my own life.
